Ozone Therapy
Ozone therapy or Major Auto-Hemotherapy (MAH) is the introduction of medical grade ozone gas into the blood. The blood is withdrawn from the patient in a close system device, mixed with ozone gas, and is then returned into the body.
How does ozone work?
Medical O3 is used to disinfect and treat disease. Mechanism of actions is by inactivation of bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast and protozoa, stimulation of oxygen metabolism, activation of the immune system. (PM 22470237). Medical Ozone can be applied topically, rectally, nasally, vaginally and through the vein to support tissue healing and to protect against infection.
